How to use free Juvega email addresses

Many websites make you confirm an email address before you can sign up. Some also run a "human check" that sends a code to your email. Juvega gives every account holder free email addresses for exactly this. You never have to use your real email address.

What these addresses are, and what they are not

• They only receive email. You cannot send email from them.
• They are for codes and links. Use them to confirm a sign-up or to pass a human check.
• They are not a private inbox for important things. Do not use them for banks, for work or for anything you cannot afford to lose.
• Messages are deleted after a few days, and attachments are not kept. Copy anything you need.
• Juvega can technically see the mail that arrives at its own addresses, like any email provider. Never use them to receive secrets.

Step 1: Make a Juvega account

You need a Juvega account first. It has no email, no phone number and no password. Open the Account page, choose a display name, type the letters from the picture, and save the 16-digit account number you get. If you lose that number you cannot log back in.

Step 2: Create an address

1. Log in and open the Account page.
2. Find the Free email addresses box.
3. Leave the name empty to get a random one, or type your own (3 to 30 letters and numbers).
4. Pick a domain from the list and press Create address.
5. Press Copy next to your new address.

You get 10 free addresses per account. If you need more, you can buy extra addresses in the shop, and they are added to your account after payment.

Step 3: Use it to sign up

1. Go to the website you want to join, in a VPN or Tor browser if you can (VPN guide, Tor guide).
2. Paste your Juvega address when it asks for an email.
3. If it asks you to confirm by email, go back to your Account page and press Open inbox on that address. The page checks for new mail every few seconds.
4. When the message arrives, Juvega shows any code at the top. Press Copy and paste it into the website. If the email holds a link instead, open the message and use the link.

Passing a human check on Proton Mail

Proton may change or block its checks at any time, and a site may refuse some domains. If one address does not work, try another domain from the list.

Good habits

• Use a different address for each site, so one leak does not link them all.
• Delete addresses you no longer need. Open the Account page and press Delete. You will not get the address back.
• Be careful with links. Opening a link in an email can tell the sender who you are. Only open links you expect.
• Do not reply to messages. You cannot send, and replies would not help.

If something goes wrong

• The code never arrives: wait a minute and press Refresh. Some sites send it slowly. Try Resend on the website, or use a different domain.
• The website says the address is not allowed: some sites block free or temporary email domains. Try another domain from the list.
• I lost my account number: it cannot be recovered. Make a new account.
• I have used all my addresses: delete one you no longer use, or buy extra addresses in the shop.
