Password or passphrase?
A passphrase of 6 random words (like *orbit-velvet-canyon-maple-thunder-pebble*) is as strong as a long random password, and much easier to type and remember. Use one for your password manager and your phone. Use random passwords for everything else, stored in your password manager.
Is it private?
Yes. Everything is made on your device with your browser's secure random number generator. Nothing is sent to us or stored. The word list is the EFF Long Wordlist (7,776 words).
