Juvega PGP

Questions

What is a password-protected PGP message?

It is text that starts with -----BEGIN PGP MESSAGE-----. It was locked with a password, so anyone who knows the password can open it with any PGP app, including this page.

Is my message sent to Juvega?

No. Everything happens inside your browser. Your message, your password and the result never leave your device. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.

It says the message is locked to a key

Some PGP messages are made for one person's PGP key instead of a password. Open those with the app that holds the key, such as OpenKeychain.

Can other people open the messages I make here?

Yes. They use the standard OpenPGP format, so they open in OpenKeychain, Kleopatra, GnuPG and other PGP apps, as well as on this page.
