Temp Message
Send a private message that is encrypted on your device and deleted after it is read. No account, and we cannot read it.

How it works
- Write your message and press Create secret link.
- Your browser encrypts it before it leaves your device. The key is part of the link, after the #, and browsers never send that part to a website. We only ever receive scrambled text we cannot read.
- Send the link to the other person. If you added a password, tell them the password another way.
- When they open it, the message is deleted (if you chose that), or it disappears when the time runs out.
Good to know
- We cannot read your notes or get them back. Lose the link and the message is gone.
- Anyone with the link can read it until it is opened or expires. Send links through a channel you trust, such as SimpleX.
- No account, no email, no tracking. We do not store your IP address with notes.
- Links shared in some apps get opened by link previews. Nothing is revealed until someone presses Open the note, so a preview cannot use up a self-destructing note.
Do not use notes for anything illegal. They are for keeping private things private, such as passwords, addresses or sensitive messages.
