How to use it
- Choose a video (MP4, MOV, WebM). You can add several, and the same settings are used for each.
- Choose where the GIF starts and how long it lasts (up to 20 seconds).
- Pick the width and how smooth it is (frames per second). Smaller and slower GIFs make smaller files.
- Click Make GIF, then download it.
Tips
- GIFs have no sound and can only show 256 colours, so they work best for short clips.
- For a small file, try 480 pixels wide and 10 frames per second.
- Want a smaller video instead of a GIF? Use the Image & Video Compressor.
Is it private?
Yes. The video is read and the GIF is made on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, and it works offline.
